How Domain Names Actually Work?

To understand how domain names actually work, we’ll take a glance at what happens once you enter it in your browser. once you enter a website name in your browser, it first sends an invitation to a worldwide network of servers that form the name System ( DNS)

These servers then search for the name servers related to the domain and forward the request to those name servers.

For example, if your website is hosted on BLUEHOST, then its name server information is going to be like this:

ns1.bluehost.com

ns2.bluehost.com

These name servers are high configured computers managed by your hosting company. Your hosting company will forward your request to the pc where your website is stored.
